One helluva college, this! I won't be too surprised to find similar colleges in India's other IT cities as well. High time that colleges invented newer methods to pay instructors better. Top of the head suggestion, get involved in research. Improves instructor productivity (by making them work harder of course!) and instruction quality (I can see a huge scope for improvement from the current rote-note level). It doesn't even have to be the big buck, long term type of investment to begin with. There is always that small-project-for-the-local-company types.
