This woman has been on a fast for the last 7 years. Very unreal. But what caught my attention was the law that makes attempted suicides illegal.
Three days later, police arrested Sharmila on charges of "attempted suicide", suicide or attempted suicide being unlawful under Indian laws and she was later transferred to judicial custody.
Yes, mee laad, you protect me from me, I understand. But what stops you from force feeding three hundred million people who lead a starving existence on the border of life and death? Are you waiting for them to declare their "attempted suicides"?

According to the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA), in an area that is proclaimed as “disturbed”, an officer of the armed forces has powers to: (a) fire upon or use other kinds of force even if it causes death; (b) to arrest without a warrant and with the use of “necessary” force anyone who has committed certain offences or is suspected of having done so; and (c) to enter and search any premise in order to make such arrests. Army officers have legal immunity for their actions. There can be no prosecution, suit or any other legal proceeding against anyone acting under that law. Nor is the government’s judgment on why an area is found to be disturbed subject to judicial review.

Blame me if I dont, blame me if I do? Not that I am "pro-special powers for Army", power always corrupts. But would these people stop intellectual masturbation in the name of increasing crime?

Apparently again, Not saving you from yourself. Trying to.

*But would these people stop intellectual masturbation in the name of increasing crime if the powers were repealed?

Going on a fast for seven years equates to intellectual masturbation?

not going on fast - the reason for why you would hate your body for 7 years (!) definitely should be.

Hey you know what I think about this? These people defy evolutionary theory- they portray they think about others more than themselves. You obviously understand I am high, dont you?
